facilitate the community based organizations working
efficiently on environmental issues, to design , implement
programs to generated resources for support development
action.
Vision: DDS envisions a society based on social justices &
peace and earth free from hunger, degradation, injustices
and any form of biasness.
Objectives:
1.
To work for integrated socio-economic development of the
neglected segments of society including population living in
remote areas and minorities
2. To ensure participation of local communities in
initiatives towards sustainable rural development.
3. To empower rural women by providing resources and
opportunities and enhancing skills to generate income.
4. To raise awareness among general masses and engage them
in protecting environment, species, natural resources.
5. To advocate the rights and issues of transgender
6. To increase adult literacy and girls literacy rates in
the remote rural areas through establishing non formal
schools and community mobilization
7. To raise awareness among rural masses on human rights
including women and children rights and gender equality
8. To improve the health status of deprived population
including men, women and children living in remote Sindh by
providing health education, training, and health service at
doorstep.
9. To carry out research based advocacy on various social,
environmental and economical issues
10. To improve media activism through capacity building
program on environment, human rights and gender reporting.
